Who Is the Earthmonk?

As a master naturalist and woodland manager, I am a good-natured man with broad ranging intellect, profound common sense, and refined humility.  I range and saunter through the New England woodlands, fields, rivers and coast.  I do all of this to (re)connect people to the natural world.

What do I write about?

Nature often hangs in balance, it is very complex and a tiny change can set off the law of unintended consequences.  So, I write about the natural world, conservation, anthropogenic issues, our successes, and our failures. I don't intentionally try to polarize my findings into black or white, instead I present the findings in gray-scale and leave it up to my subscriber's to consider both sides.

What should I write about?

Leave a comment below about what you have seen in nature. What do you want to know more about? If you have an idea for a good story about the natural world, please leave a comment below. I love to tell a good story!

People

Earthmonk is a person and not an institution or organization. Nature is always waiting for us but somehow we lose our connection to nature. It is my goal to help you rediscover and maintain a connection to the natural world.
